The yeezy 350 v2 static's drop in select stores tomorrow and I am sure people will be lined up to purchases the newest yeezys like always, but I have to ask the question that everyone else is asking. Are yeezys dead? They made their run but now everybody has a pair. Even my 16 year old no body little sister has a pair of V2s. Is the hype gone because they are so easily accessible now? If you have $220 on release day and internet you are just about guaranteed your pair. The last v2 to release around here actually sat on shelves. Will these sit or sell? I honestly think this is the weakest v2 to release yet but we will just have to wait till tomorrow and see what the people think. As far as I am concerned. Yeezy is dead.
November 25 the new yeezy v2 beluga 2.0 came out. For those of you who are not familiar this is Kanye's brand and shoe that he has created with adidas. If you know adidas you know their sizing is a little wonky. I am a women's size 8.5 which is a mens size 7, however in the yeezy v2 I wear a mens size 8 and it fits perfect. Were you able to snag the v2 beluga that came out? My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to get ours and not pay a penny more than retail. They are sold out now but you can find them on GOAT. This is the only place I suggest buying and selling, way too many places sell and buy fakes so you have to be careful when you start getting into highly sought after shoes. I think that is all I have for today! xx Allison
The Jordan 11 retro high "win like 82" released this week, myself along with hundreds others I'm sure found their way entering raffles for the very sought after 11, however footlocker did something new this week with their raffle system. Instead of the old come in and get a raffle ticket, write your name, number and size and keep your half of the ticket incase you win, they totally switched it up and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet! For this raffle when you went into the store like normal to enter they handed you a flier with instructions on how to enter via the footlocker app. This is a smart way to get people to download the app and get more people using their sites but is it the best way to run a raffle? When you downloaded to app you could go to the upcoming shoe to be raffled, enter for your size and select 3 stores. That stunk for me since there is only one footlocker store around here. Next you could bypass others and get early access to the shoe by signing up to be a VIP member, this was interesting because it didn't seem to do anything for those who are already VIP members, just if you were to sign up right then were you to get an advantage. You could also go to a footlocker store near you and check in to the store to get early access to the release and there was one other thing you could do but honestly I forgot lol. After all that I did not participate in anyway to get the early access advantage and was "wait listed" on the shoes, later it updated stating that I had won. So did getting early access actually help you get the shoe and secure it faster or is footlocker just being smart with their marketing to get more people to sign up for VIP and going to check into a store hoping maybe while there you would see something and buy it? The world may never know! I am not a fan of the new raffling system after this one but maybe I will be in the future as it seems like it could more convenient. Let me know what you think, did you win the shoes?
The women's NB 520 sneakers in cream and gold just restocked and I couldn't be happier for you all! They are so stinking comfortable but also keep your style level on top. They DO run big, even though the site doesn't say that. I went a half size down and it was perfect. Also this is a narrow shoe so if you have wider feet this might not be the shoe for you! I don't know why I can't find this shoe anywhere but through JCREW, but it's back! And for $85 you can't beat that price for some back to school shoes! click the photo to shop! Also comes in a pretty navy and rose gold color!
Ever find yourself in a sticky situation like this? Well if you haven't then kudos to you. As for me its happened often and it happened last night! I was so mad as it was the first day I had worn my brand new vans. Usually when I step in gum I chalk it up as a loss because it is THAT HARD to get it off!!!! So late last night I was determined to get this off my brand new shoe. I googled, of course, how to get gum off your shoe. The first thing I tried was to take a plastic bag and stick it where the gum is and then put the shoe in the freezer for 1-2 hours. The gum is supposed to harden and then when you pull the bag off the gum should come too. Well this didn't work for me. So back to google. I tried to bleach the gum off, soap and water of course, I tried to pick it all out with tweasers. Finally I found something helpful on google. FINGER NAIL POLISH REMOVER!!!! They need to rename it to gum remover because IT WORKED!!!! Something in the remover literally dissolves away the gum! I took my remover and a towel and went to work. Being careful to not get it on the upper shoe part. Sure enough after enough rubbing the remover on it was GONE! I was so happy! And I had to share with you guys because I know I can't be the only person this happens to! I totally didn't think to get a before and after photo and I so wish I did because I swear you can't even tell there was ever any gum there! So, happy removing guys! This is totally a sole saver!
