Just a life update for you on how my dog training/school has been going! I am officially on week three and it is crazy to think that I only have seven and a half more weeks until I finish my official training! I've learned so much already that it is honestly crazy. I've been invited to compete in a creative dog grooming competition in November with the help of my instructors, I feel like it'll be a fantastic experience and I am crazy nervous like seriously so freaking nervous but I am so excited as well! It'll be my first ever competition if I decide to compete and it will be in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania! I honestly was shocked that I got invited to go considering that I'm seriously on my third week of doing this type of thing ever in my life but I feel so honored for this amazing opportunity! Working with animals all day has been a blessing and I can't wait to see what else is in store for me! Well there's my little update I'll keep you posted with more info as I continue on this journey thanks so much for reading and for everyone who has supported me from the beginning!!! Xoxo Allison

So my first week of dog styling school is over. And it has been awesome! With one migraine after another and going to bed at 8 o'clock on a Friday I am completely exhausted. I had a great time though and I can't wait for the next 9 weeks. I feel like they will just fly by like this week did! I had some awesomely behaved dogs and some not so much haha and I feel like I've learned so much already. The instructors are just as awesome as my classmates and it's just so much fun to be around the fur babies all day. I can't believe something this fun gets to be my career! I'm not gonna lie, the first week was pretty rough. I've clipped a couple toe nails too short and I keep finding new scratches and bruises all over me in the most random places. This week consisted of me learning how to prep the dog for the bath which means cleaning out their ears and doing their nails. Then learning the correct way to bathe and dry the dog, I promise you it is not as simple as you'd think! Did you know you are supposed to bathe them three times with three different shampoos?! Plus a conditioner if it is a type of coat that requires one! On my second day every dog I had had fleas! So that was quite an experience, but it was so satisfying to know that because of you, when they leave they will no longer have fleas and be in pain! It is quite awesome. I'll keep you guys posted here! so until next time haha
